Uptight, over-posed photography is simply not my style.
It's boring, outdated, and blah. And if we're being honest, no one wants to flip through an album or send out graduation announcements where everyone looks as though they were forced to smile for the camera & totally unhappy with being there. Where's the magic in that?
That's why I value putting time into your experience.
Because when you're connecting with the person on the other side of the lens, genuine emotion shines through. You know, the kind you can't shoot twice even if you tried type of looks.
The child's laugh, the bride's anticipation, the graduate's excitement.
It's the essence you, as you are, in that moment. That feeling within a single second that you'll instantly be brought back to every time you see the photo. That's what you're really looking for, right?
My philosophy is this:
You deserve to feel special from the moment we grab coffee to discuss your day through the moments you share those memories with loved ones for years to come. Which is why you won't find me bossing you around into uncomfortable poses or photos you don't love.
Instead, you'll receive a custom experience from start to finish with the sole focus being the main character: you. We'll get creative, hike where we need to, and capture the personality only you can bring to the moment.
Meet the Photographer
If you've followed me for any length of time, you already know I love taking photos as much as the next person. Okay, probably a little bit more than most.
And thanks to ever improving technology, I now have a camera with me wherever I go, which is a verified source of annoyance to my children.
Also, if you're traveling with me, you'll no doubt hear me saying "can we stop real quick?" and "just one sec..." because something has caught my eye.
